We had fun this morning netting one of our stock ponds. The pond had 150 fish in it. 100 from VS Fisheries @ 5lb from 20 months ago the majority now weighed 12lb with 42 of them between 13 & 19lb these have now been given more space to grow on for another year. The pond also had 50 fish from Chris @ East Yorkshire Fish Farm again 5lb from 12 months ago. These are now 9lb with a handful of commons now 11lb. All the fish from both suppliers have gone into Rick’s Lake (PB2) which now has 400 fish in 5 acres ready for opening in 2023.
Thanks to Charlie. Ian. John. Neil. Rob.& my son Tom & Grandson Jack for their help today. It’s great to share these memorable days with family & friends.

As 2019 ends and we look forward to 2020 we reflect on the sample fishing on PB Lake this year. Family & friends have had the opportunity to fish during the winter months both in the early part of the year and again just recently. (12 weekends in all) The one exception was when my friend and work colleague Alan Carr booked two nights in May for his birthday which produced 37 fish. Twenty four PB’s have been broken and here’s a few photo’s of the captures which include two Fortys to 42lb. Thirty different 30’s to 39lb.12oz and a couple of my favourites. We hope you like what you see and we look forward to meeting customers old & new in 2020.

Karl Nendick has got off to a great start with 4 fish to 27lb in a crazy couple of hours.
This stunner was supplied by VS Fisheries at 12lb two years ago, one I’m sure most carp anglers would like in their photo album.

A working weekend on PB Lakes with a bit of fishing thrown in for good measure rewarded Andy Beach for his efforts with 7 fish between 23lb & 27lb and a nineteen just as he was packing down. Great winter form.
